NABI needs staff of highest calibre and potential at various levels as shown below. The number of faculty positions is flexible. There are three positions of Deans, one each in Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Biotechnology.

1. Dean in Pay Scale : HAG Rs. 67000 - 79000 Age:55
2. Scientist-F in Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8900/- Age: 50
3. Scientist-E in Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs.8700/- Age:50
4. Scientist-D in Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.7600/- Age: 50 
5. Scientist-C in Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600/- Age: 40

Application Fee :  Rs.100/- (No application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates), by means of Demand Draft (issued by State Bank of India only), drawn in favour of “National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali” payable at Phase-1 Br., Mohali.
