IIT Delhi invites applications from eligible candidates for following posts for its Central Library :     

• Librarian :  01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000  AGP Rs. 10000/- Eligibility: Master degree in Library science/ Information science/ documentation with 55%. 13 year as a deputy librarian in University Library or 18 year in college library. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. DESIRABLE: M.Phil/ P.Hd in Library science or its equilavent. Specialized course in computer application and networking with experience in library.
• Dy. Librarian :  01 post (UR), Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100  AGP Rs. 8000/- Eligibility: Master degree in Library science or its equvilent with 55%. 5 year experience as assistant librarian. Evidence of innovative library service, published work, computerization of library. DESIRABLE: M.Phil/ P.Hd in Library science or its equilavent. Specialized course in computer application and networking with experience in library.
• Assistant Librarian :  04 posts (UR-3, SC-1), Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100  AGP Rs.6000/- Eligibility: Master degree in Library science or its equvilent with 55% with good academic record and exposure to computerization of library. Qualifying in National level test for the purpose by UGC Desirable: Specialized course in Computer Application and Networking and experience computer aided library.
